My wife and daughter recently returned from Manila and visited my father's grave site in the US cemetery. He was with the 503, jumped on Corregidor, then went to Negros Island and was killed in May of 1945. He was a captain at the time of his death. His name was Edward James McCall. Possibly was called Eddie McCall. I was wondering if there was anybody on this site who might of known him or has any reference about him. I'm his only son and I was born in December, 1944. He knew he had a son but was never able to see me. Thanks

Your father was in Co. B? When did he join the 503rd and was he always in Co. B?
I have some early photos of guys from Co. B. The lack of names is a huge bummer. If there is a possibility of your father being in the photos, based upon his time of entering the 503rd, I can send you scans of all of these pictures and see if you see him.
Also, would you happen to have a picture of him? Maybe I can do a quick search and see if anyone looks like him for these Co. B photos.
Thanks Dan
