I recently acquired aerial photos of Corregidor from Feb. 6 1945. They are very impressive and once the set has been scanned at 2400 dpi I will show you many more cool things. This is a tiny part of one picture @ 150 dpi. I can't wait to show you guys the rest. Anyway....Just throwing this out there for you to play with. If you know it, wait a little for some of the new guys to guess...but what Battery is in the photo and what part of the island? Enjoy Dan Attachments:

Wow, can't wait to see the rest! Looks like Crockett and Geary Pt. to me. Crockett looks to still be relatively untouched prior to the naval bombardment of a week later.

Since the secret is out, I will agree with the others. Your new collection sounds very interesting Dan.

I have been on a road below Battery Crockett but not one that close to the water?

OK, to put this picture in more context. This is still only a part of the total picture....it's all that could fit on my scanner. These pictures are about 19 x 11 inches. This too is only 150 dpi Enjoy more will come. Dan Attachments:

Nice shot. You can see Battery Wheeler and Battery Way, a nice view of topside, the barracks, including the warehouse, the road layout, etc. Looking forward for more...

Looking at the latest photo it seems as if Battery Ramsay had already been obliterated when the photo was taken. There is no sign (to me at least) of the battery, which should have appeared in this view.
