3rd visit on 27/28 Feb2006, this visit was with the CDSG, 'Coastal Defense Study Group'. It has 2 albums; album 1 of 2 deals with all remaining ex Army and Navy structures or remnants. Album 2 of 2 is strictly about the new resort, the ride there and views around the Resort Island. Note: the dates on the pictures are wrong; they were shot on 27th or 28th Feb 2006. Pictures of Battery Warwick are on the Grande Island Feb 2004 album. These albums are active again as of 2011-06-23, they have been shifted to this account, away from Kodak! This is the first album about the military remnants, 167 images: Click here for a group of 13 or more Fort Wint/Grande Island image albums from Karl: app.photobucket.com/u/PI-Sailor/a/eeaa19d8-e98b-44e4-a464-395a72f66068Here is a group of new Web Pages Karl has started about Fort Wint: philippine-sailor.net/category/manilabay/grandeisland/Here is an image of one of the four coal bins:

Grande Island Resort details. On the 27th Feb. 2006 I visited Grande Island, the ex Fort Wint for the 3rd time after the Base Closure. The Coastal Defense Study Group (CDSG) went there and I went along. This is the 2nd out 2 albums from this visit and is about the resort only. The 1st album was about the military remnants. The dates on the pictures are wrong because I couldn’t use the camera menu anymore. Here are 93 images: Click here for a group of 13 or more Fort Wint/Grande Island image albums from Karl: app.photobucket.com/u/PI-Sailor/a/eeaa19d8-e98b-44e4-a464-395a72f66068Here is a group of new Web Pages Karl has started about Fort Wint: philippine-sailor.net/category/manilabay/grandeisland/Here is an image of the recreation vehicles at the Grande Island resort:
