Dear Sir!
Warm Greetings!
I-Witness is the flagship documentary program of GMA-7, Philippines’ number one television network and is hosted by the award-winning journalists Kara David, Sandra Aguinaldo, Jay Taruc and Howie Severino. I-Witness seeks to chronicle places, issues, people and events that are of significance and interest to the Filipino people. It has also been recognized here and abroad for its groundbreaking features. It airs locally every Monday night, after our late night news program, SAKSI, and has the possibility of a replay in GMA News TV. It also airs internationally through GMA Pinoy TV. The said episode could also be released in DVD format in the future.
For our June Episode, the team of Kara David would like to do a story on the history of Fort Drum (El Fraile Island) located at Manila Bay. Fort Drum today is abandoned and many Filipinos had already forgotten the significance of this historic place.
We have seen your photos on concretebattleship.org and we would like to ask permission if we could use it for our documentary. It will be a great help if our countrymen could see the value of this place and remember its importance.
Rest assured that your photos will have proper attribution.
We look forward for your most positive response. Should you have any questions, please contact the undersigned at 02-982-7777 local 1419 or 1411, 0905-3471107 or thru our e-mail address, I-W3@gmanetwork.com Thank you very much and more power.
Sincerely yours,
