EXO,
I agree entirely with the idea of making these islands a National Park. That is the best way to keep the history protected and original while also allowing people to see these sites and learn about them. Thanks for posting the clip of the program. Its nice to see.

Did anyone notice the picture in the video of the 6" shells stacked butt-to-butt?

Thanks Battery and Exo. I missed this one, too busy back in July. And I rarely watch local Channels here.
I hope I get to see the Full Version.

Since I didn't get a response to my note, I'll ask again: Did anyone notice the picture in the video of the 6" shells stacked butt-to-butt? This was my theory of the 155mm shells stacked in the Malinta Hill lateral. Any thoughts?

Hi oozlefinch,
I'm confused. Are you asking if these shells are the same? I wouldn't think so since they don't look at all alike. The ones in the tunnel are less pointy on the end. They may be a similar diameter though.
or are you pointing out that the shells in the tv show are stacked like the tunnel ones? Although the ones on the show seem to have a bracket system of some sort between the layers.
I think this was a fairly common approach to stacking certain size ammo when needed.
