I have on my hard drive a file about the actions of Battery B1, Corregidor. Again, don't remember where or how Icame about to having it. It may already reside on this site somewhere. If it does, please disregard it and consider my lack of participation here as an excuse. Attachments:

Bob,
No excuse is necessary. You were participating greatly elsewhere, and I thank you for gracing us with this very interesting document. I hope that I will have time to make it a permanent article on the site.
Thanks XO

BATTERY BOSTON - diagram by Capt. A. E. Huff Initially, on a quick glimpse, I thought the article was new to our collection, and that it would be a fine addition to the website. So I set about doing just that. But imagine my surpise when, on looking closer at it, I noticed that the attribution and thankyou footnote on the document is something which I myself had written on an early version that I had published on our website several years ago. I checked the page date - the page in its current format goes back to July 2001, and I suspect I had published an earlier version even previous to that. The history of "BOSTON" by Capt. Huff is one of fifteen battery histories contained in the internal pages of the "United States Coast Artillery of Manila and Subic Bays 1941" website. The permalink to the individual Battery Boston history is corregidor.org/ca/btty_boston/boston_1.htm

EXO - you're a victim of your own success. <G>
I think I've seen mention of your intent that this site be an Easter Egg hunt and you've succeeded admirably.
Bob - please keep the stuff coming. Even if we may have seen it (and I probably haven't) it is always good to see again.

A large percentage of these files come from Roger Mansell. They resided on his hard drive for many years. I was fortunate enough to be the recipient of a small portion of what he had after he passed away. As I stated earlier to someone, having this information on hand is great for me but does no one else any good so I am happy to spread the good around.
I have many other records which I will eventually add to photobucket but they are affidavits and files having to do with pow camps in Japan and Manchuria which I believe, perhaps incorrectly, there would be no interest on this site.

Hi Bob, I think any and all of your information would be of value to the folks using this site. As to the Japan and Manchuria files, many men from Corregidor/Bataan/Philippines ended up there. (Someone correct me if I am wrong, I am still relatively new at this) How wonderful and efficient to have the information on one site. Thanks for what you have contributed so far. Patty
