While doing research, I found some information on the wounding of 1st Lt Edward T Flash 2nd Platoon Company F 503d while on Corregidor. The attachment contains the article concerning his wounding with a hand written note about his time with 503d.
Sorry to say, Edward T Flash passed away on April 27, 2012. I will post his obituary under TAPS.

1st Lt Edward T Flash 2nd Platoon Company F 503d
Obituary reads as follows; Edward Thomas Flash (Lieutenant Colonel U.S. Army Retired) born October 5, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio, died in Kerrville, TX at the Veterans Hospital, Home of the Brave on April 27, 2012 at the age of 92.
He honorably served his country for 31 ½ years as a career airborne military officer and paratrooper while serving in WWII in the 503rd airborne division in the south pacific, Korea and three tours in Vietnam.
In 1943 he received a battle field commission while on the island of Corregidor under the command of General Douglas MacArthur and General George Jones. He retired in 1972 at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
Ed was a man of many interests and a gentleman rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Flash; six brothers, a sister and first wife, Gladys Flash.
Ed is survived by two brothers, Richard Flash and Robert and Lorraine Flash of Cleveland, OH; sons, LTC (Ret.) Tom and LTC Sarah Flash, Lawson Flash of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Paula and Todd Prins, Mitzi and Justin Kezar of San Antonio, TX and Jaimie Flash of Lakeway, TX; grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, Spencer, Sterling, Autumn, Brooke and Lily; great-grandchildren, Maya, Zora, and Samara. Viewing will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
SERVICE THURSDAY MAY 3, 2012 10:00 A.M. MAIN POST CHAPEL FORT SAM HOUSTON
In lieu of flowers, donations and contributions can be made to South Texas Veterans Health Care System, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78228.

Thank you for posting about my Father, Today is his Birthday, and I found this ..Happy Birthday Daddy❤️ -Jaimie Flash Jaimie, Your father makes numerous appearances throughout the 503prct.org website, and he is often mentioned in Bless 'Em All. He was clearly a remarkable personality. There are places I go on Corregidor where I think of him being one of the men who attempted to rescue Leonard Ledoux by putting him on a mattress and trying to bring him, under fire, to safety. The other men were Tony Lopez, Robert O'Connell and "Greek" Kambakumis. This was where your dad got the wound which put him into hospital for so long. If you have any stories, don't hesitate to personal message me or Registrar.
