Hey Patty....Regretfully, my rinky dinky computer set up can't handle this, I am confident this is an excellent "goodie", and I betcha it includes the unique instance where a civilian aircraft, a "China Clipper", actually goes on an extended patrol in hopes of locating the Japanese invasion fleet at Wake Island. Am I correct? In those desperate days, I would imagine, that everyone felt they should contribute in the effort to stem the Japanese tide. I will attempt to view this "hey look" on my cousin's "high dollar" computer system. Thanks much for posting..

Interesting story. What makes me sad is that the older I get and the more information I gather as a researcher, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Wow. Great story. The youtube clip was too short for an interesting voyage. Is there a movie for that real story? I could swap other errands with a WWII movie during a summer afternoon. Thanks for the share, Patty.
