Graves of Carroll C. Ginnell, Clifford L. Larsen, Ernest E. Johnson, and Alfred F. Duggleby. Photo taken at Santo Tomas. The ABMC site has the wrong date of death for all of them, they list it as 28 April 05. The correct date of death is unknown but witness statements say they were arrested in Santo Tomas by the Japanese on 23 Dec 44, nobody saw them alive again. When the Americans took control of Manila, a group of 60 to 70 Caucasians were found in a large hole near Fort Abad on Dewey Blvd. A group from Santo Tomas went out to help ID the bodies and those four were found in the pile, all were headless but were ID'd through other means. Not only were they decapitated but all showed signs of having been tortured.
