Recently, I read a new book on the coast defenses of Puget Sound, Battle Ready by author David Hansen. An excellent book, by the way.
He stated that the two M1903 3" seacoast (not AA) guns at Washington State's Fort Casey (Battery Trevor) were taken out of their mounts and sent to Fort Mills (Corregidor) in 1933. Does anyone have any information as to their subsequent use or fate? The mounts remained at Fort Casey until scrapped about 10 years later.
I admit, a bit of an irony because there are currently two 3" M1903 guns mounted at the same place at Fort Casey that came from Fort Wint!

Those tubes from Battery Trevor (number 39 and 50) were shipped to Ft Mills Nov. 1933. Both were mounted around 1934. Tube 39 in Battery James number 4 emplacement and tube 50 in Battery Cushing in number 1 emplacement
