EXO
I read with interest the posting here from guerrilladaughter but see no other activity. I tried to search her name but this New Member Intro post is the only thing that came up.
Has there been any other contact from her in other threads that do not come up in the search? I would be very interested in what she has accumulated so far.
"Beirutvet, there has been no further contact with guerrilladaughter to date. All too often we have new members appear momentarily, and never hear from them again. Over the years I have deleted more than a hundred of them. It's my policy not to disclose a member's private email address, as life is complicated enough without getting involved in privacy issues. It's a long shot but if you leave a presonal message and she turns up again, it will be up to her to contact you. Best wishes, EXO"

Welcome to slryan whose IP hails us from Singapore. He writes: Hi. I visited The Rock four years ago. I managed to do a "run through" since I only had a day. I saw the main gun positions, but had time for little else. I would like to come back to The Rock again and stay in one of your accommodations. This would allow me time to adequately explore. I would also like to join any members who are venturing out to Fort Hughes or Fort Drum. I imagine that access is quite restricted, and confined to groups that arrange beforehand. Thanks so much!
24 AUG Welcome to Mark Howard who is ex Navy, and has visited the Philippines many times. His IP Address indicates San Francisco.

14 September 2016Welcome Howard of Dana Pt., California who writes: "I explored Corregidor many times when living in the Philippines in the the 1970s and 1990s. Since then I continue to study the island and its history. Also a member of CDSG. Have just joined this group and donated my membership fee. I want to get the digital 1936 maps and have been unsuccessful with how to download. Please advise. Thank you, Howard" EXO Replies: Howard, I see there was a donation by Cheryl Taylor on 6 September, and I sent three maps to "her" and a short thank-you note to the address that same day. I thought PayPal would be forwarding it along. As they haven't, I have just forwarded it again directly to your members address as notified today. I hope it works and my apologies for the difficulties. If it doesn't arrive, or you have an issue opening them, be in contact again. Thank you for your donation - running the sites isn't all peaches and cream. 15 September 2016Welcome to mgalibroatlapis who writes: "I am an Architecture student from University of the East- Caloocan and currently doing his thesis research. I need to research on Caballo Island in Corregidor. Hoping you could help me. Thank you." EXO Replies: From the information coming to us recently, it's harder to get on Caballo Island than it ever was. Using it as the quarantine station for Ebola hasn't helped any, either. Many of us have all but given up on getting there. You will find a number of posts on the forum if you use it as your search term, as well as Fort Hughes, and the various batteries - Gillespie, Woodruff, Craighill, William, Leach, Fuger, Idaho and Battery Hooker. (There's no telling what will show up if you search Corregidor Hooker.) Battery Boy (Tony Feredo) has been on the island more often than any of us, and taken more photos, so add his name to your search criteria. I've been there twice, though haven't written much about it, leaving the heavy lifting to Tony. There's also an article by Charles Bogart which is very useful. 12 October 2016Paul Glenshaw ( pgglenshaw) joins. Member's IP indicates Quebec.

30 November 2016: Welcome to Kevin Lamkin who writes us: "Hello, My grandfather served in the 24th infantry division in World War 2. I found some info on one of the forum pages referring to what I believe may be him. I was hoping to communicate with the author of the post to confirm my suspicion and to get more information as to where he got the info. I never got to meet my grandfather, so this is my way of learning his experiences and honoring his legacy. I believe the administrator "EXO" posted the article I found. If nothing else I would love to get some information from them. Thank you for the consideration and anything that this site may contribute to my knowledge of my grandfather."
30 November 2016: Welcome laureanolabasay whose IP 70.197.64.137 indicates Santa Clara, Los Angeles. No info provided.
