To paste an image on this forum, it needs to be hosted somewhere. There are numerous 3d party hosts out there, and one in particular that is just under our nose. Facebook (FB). To post this image, I just put it on the 503d PRCT Heritage FB Page. There is also a FB Page for the Corregidor Historic Society. You could also put it on your own FB Page as part of your own Time Line. I joined an auto forum recently and they have a system where members buy individual storage to post their own images. Their forum was proprietary, and not associated with proboards though. I've hada look to see if there are any add-ons for proboards-based forums but can't find any.

Many images of Corregidor have been kicking around since the 1910's and 1920's, and with a little help can be cleaned up and sent back into circulation. What was notable about this image is the clear trail from San Jose to the top of Malinta Hill, and the lack of the south shore road. I invite others to put their photo interpretation skills into gear to find out what else can be discovered. This is also a FB image from www.facebook.com/Corregidor.org/I do need a little assistance with FB, in that there are various classes of pages, and I intended to create a page that would allow others to put their images directly into the page. I am concerned that the type of page I have started mightn't allow that, so I need an assist from someone who can confirm that images can be posted directly to the page. The page is at www.facebook.com/Corregidor.org/

Here's a posting by GED DIZON from our Facebook Page. Select the desired image: right click mouse: "Copy image address" 2. Paste the image address into your Proboards post. 3. Select the entire address (left mouse button) 4. Press the "Insert Image" button 5. Check "Preview" 6. Enjoy!

Just adding more visual interest to the sport of pinching Facebook images for the forum, here is a direct steal from Tony Feredo's recent post of a NASA Photo of Manila Bay. Tony is a.k.a. Batteryboy, and one of the foremost WWII authorities on coast artillery and Imperial Japanese forces in the Philippines.
