MORE ABOUT THE PREVIEW
This announcement is for the 503d P.I.R., 503d P.R.C.T., and the 503d Infantry Regiment Veterans and Friends out there.
I have made a few updates to "Bless 'em All" so that it can now be obtained in a "Hardcover/Dust Jacket" version as well as the "Hardcover, ImageWrap" version as well as in an Adobe pdf Version.
Sharp eyes might also detect that the scope of the book has been extended from the 2d Bn to the entirety of the 503d.
In doing so, I've also added several pages of images from "Jungle Jim" Mullaney's Collection of training photos taken during his time at Ft. Benning. Jim went on to command "H" Company, you remember? Yeah, sure you do.
(There are no plans for an ePub version at this time, sorry. I'll explain that elsewhere.)
This is all about the joys of buying a YUGE book in silky, slinky, sexy paper. While I am a huge proponent of technology, and I can appreciate the ease of carrying digital titles on an iPad for quick reading when out and about, if given the choice, I’ll still pick the old-fashioned variety cover-to-cover most every time. Why?
1. Originals are Art
.
2. Traditional Books are harder to alter.
3. Traditional Books can be enjoyed without batteries.
4. Original Books are Beautiful. They can be fondled. Did I already say silky, slinky, sexy paper?
5. Traditional Books Can be Shared.
This book arrives at a kerb weight of 2.8 Kg, which is a poofteenth of an ounce over 6 pounds.
For a short period of time, I have set the "Preview" to allow the entirety of the book to be viewed, so that you know what it is you'll get. Remember, this is a very limited Private Edition. You won't find this book down at the mall;s book remainders shop.
Potential investors (this is an investment, not a book!) are strongly encouraged to look for Blurb Discount Coupons to reduce the cost.
I've linked to an explanation page, and from there you can go to the PREVIEW.
