I purchased a Christmas gift at an antique store for a friend of mine that collects army air corps “stuff” This item I picked up happened to be a log book of a man named C.C. Leiby. The book starts on 2-14-1920 and goes all the way to 4-9-1945. He puts notes of promotions and other things in it. He was made Corporal on 7-5-1920 and was Major on 9-14-1943. Anyway, when I brought the book home I looked at it in more detail and found that he made some trips to Corregidor. This is what he had in his log. I don’t know exactly what it all means, I’ll leave it up to you guys who understand pilot logs better. I figured I better share this information before I wrap this gift up and no longer have it in my care. Now we know of 2 types of old planes that landed on Corregidor in the 1930's.
