ANOTHER KARL SCHMIDT AT BATTERY WEST 1925 OR MAYBE NOT? Just yesterday my friend Karl Schmidt, member of the Coastal Defense Study Group (CDSG) and past leader sent me more Coastal Defense Material via the Dropbox program. This picture got my attention right away it had this description: “Karl Schmidt at battery West 1925 or maybe not”. It obviously cannot be him since it is dated 1925. There must be a story to this picture but I shoot first and ask questions later. When I find out I will share it. X801 (West2) Karl Schmidt at battery West 1925 or maybe not, what is this story? A higher resolution copy, with the No. West2, is in this Battery West Album of mine: Unloaded to Photobucket, Corregidor by subject, Batteries-Coastal Artillery, Battery West: s74.photobucket.com/user/PI-Sailor/library/Corregidor%20by%20subject/Batteries-Coastal%20Artillery/Batt-West?sort=9&page=1or tinyurl.com/mts2wja
