So some of you know, my goal is to update the Honor Roll and be sure we find every man that made the ultimate sacrifice. I have been searching for grave sites and information on each man. One day I'm sure every fallen 503rd member will be found. I'm confident in that. Today I accidentally found one more man to add to the list that wasn't previously noted. Pfc. Thomas Holy Elk Face of Sioux County, ND. Army#37081622 of Battery "B" 462d PFABn DOW April 17th 1945 "The first casualty caused by our own booby traps occurred when Pfc. Thomas Holey Elk Face, Battery B, 462nd Parachute Field Artillery Bn, tripped a trap set by members of the 2d Platoon on 17 April." Taken from BATTLE HISTORY, BATTERY D 462d PRCHT FA Bn (NEGROS OPN.) as published on Page 3 of the article at corregidor.org/462/Btry%20D,%20462d%20Prcht%20F%20A%20Negros.html Sometimes our un-noted fallen are right under our own noses.
