Hey Demether...These are such clear images. Many thanks for posting. The deck of Fort Drum certainly depicts the beating it has taken. All the loose rubble makes it appear to be a unkempt, cheap parking lot. If I were one of the 1945 residents of the Fort I would be thinking that facing those Garands and M-1 Carbines to be much preferable to being burned alive. Just expressing my "druthers". To each his own, I guess. This is good stuff.
