@flystar, the best would be from the east. For the adventurer type, the West Road would take a whole day from Bagac to Mariveles. According to a friend, you'll have to cross rivers, jungles and unbeaten paths.

That's an interesting optical illusion. The coast on the horizon is even so the frame is not tilted significantly.

There's a rail that comes out of it.
Since they are coming out of a hiding place, why is it that their hands are not up in the air nor on their head?

Good pics of the torpedo. Before I thought torpedoes aren't that big. I thought someone could carry them with his own hands.

Wow. But sad that even support beams are being scrapped. Maybe the Navy or Coast Guard should put an outpost there or nearby.

Hello, flystar! I'm from Bataan and it's flattering that you like western Bataan. It has fine beaches, northwest morong, bagac and Mariveles. There are also a lot of beautiful places in the PI like El Nido, Coron and Boracay, but Bataan is home sweet home and a better place to live than in most places in Luzon. Guess, I'm biased but I love it here.

thanks, chad. It would be a lot nicer if I could go back to the 60s,70s or 80s when there are still a lot to be found here, like the old folks used to say. I guess there are still a few "treasures" to be found somewhere.
