Love the photos, as always.
In the photo Zg044 it is noted that the roof framing of the Fort Mills hospital is still in place. It also appears that the roof framing is still in place for Mile Long Barracks as well.
Look at the top of the photo and you can see a small portion of it. Also look at the shadows on the floor from the framing above..

It's only hearsay upon hearsay, but many years ago I was told that certain corrupt individuals from the Army (being placed in command of Corregidor) connived to remove the lead flashings which waterproofed the Hospitals, barracks etc. The pilfering was not limited to the lead flashing. Governance of Corregidor was a blank warrant. - EXO
