Hi, thanks for posting my blog article. I didn't like the way Sun Cruises operated the tours, the restaurant and the inn. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVED exploring the island and strongly recommend a visit.

It was a good, fair and accurate review that you wrote and don't let anyone say it wasn't. Plus good images that tell the story.
Sun Cruises runs a very good, almost excellent boat service and they have friendly staff, hard to fault. I am always super pleased to see them again, each and every time. The Inn is always scrupulously clean and the linens well laundered, not an easy thing in that environment. Back of office, and price-wise, they rely on their monopoly, and thus feel there is no need for improvement, nor any pressing requirement to look after the petty things of hotel maintenance. When it sucks, it shows. They're a textbook operation for that, actually.
My yardstick for the improvement of their cuisine is whether they have any morning jam other than Mango. Seems to me they just must get the leftovers from their cruise ships. Year in, year out, mango jam. Although that would be a reasonable price to pay to have your Groundhog Day on Corregidor.

I enjoyed reading thru Arman's Blog - its how I would describe my day tour back in 2011. Experiencing Corregidor in anyway is priceless. I am not saying Suncruises did a bad job, however I feel they could improve it a bit - like longer stays per site. I remember I just started taking a few photos of Battery Hearn and we are already being called into the bus. And about the food, my Girlfriend is not so happy about it she was expecting something like from Shangrila Hotel. And she said 1 hour for lunch is not enough cause she its so slow.
I plan to bring my mother and Aunt to Corregidor but I dont think they can handle the day tour getting of and on the buss will be punishing for them they are already in their 60s I am just 30. But my leg did hurt from all that action since I have to run most of the time to maximize taking photos. I am actually interested to do something like what Fots and the other guys do. Explor Corregidor not thru the package tour.

Good day Darthdract . Hey bring your Mother and Aunt . I am 70 years old . Myself and my wife will be doing the day tour in late May this year . Your Mom and Aunt will enjoy the day out . If I experience any pain I usually just smile , unless the pain gets really bad . That's the facts about getting old .

If i would be lucky enough to catch the boat from Mariveles i would try out to go back to the Rock this coming May on a day tour only. The trip via Suncruise is a trip that will make a bit pricey cause i still have to join their tour in Manila. If we would be three its a budget constraint already. If we will join in a pool then we won't have any problem. And from there maybe i can ask for the cheapest means of stay for more overnite stay to see much more.I heard there were huts for hire there? This i'm not sure of.
