Please re-welcome ed, who registered with us about 6 years ago but haves forgotten his password. He writes: "My dad, Eddie McCall was in the 503d and was killed on Negros Island. It was almost exactly 72 years ago. He is buried in the Philippines. My wife and daughter went to see his grave about 6 years ago. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about my dad or has any information about what took place on Negros Island. During this Memorial Day time, my heart is as sad as ever for him and the other men who died for our country. My dad knew he had a son but never saw me. I'm 72 and my clock is ticking. if anyone has any information they can share, I would appreciate it.....Rendezvous With Destiny." His IP indicates Traverse City, Michigan.
I have decided against registering thesensorystore as its IP is a bit of a problem. Its IP 103.212.157.83 comes up as a spam site based in New Delhi. It's banned.

Welcome to wittmer who writes:
His IP indicates St. Louis, Missouri.
(I can answer this easily, Gary: The rights to Secret War in the Pacific ARE owned, and they ARE proprietary, and they belong to Peter Parsons, and he has NOT given anyone any permission to YouTube them, or to monetarize them. Indeed, he wishes he could rid YouTube of the plagues of various and sundry thieves and bandits who have stolen his works, and have marketed them without authority - ExO.)

15 June 2017 Welcome jmlrct107 whose IP suggests Atlanta GA writes: "What happened to the hundreds of wounded that were in the tunnel when the Island fell?" The answer was that the Japanese generally behaved in a civil manner, and allowed (or rather forced) the prisoners to recuperate. There were individual incidents of cruelty, but no widespread pattern of sadism or inhumanity. The nurses were not molested, not then, and not later, and not throughout their entire captivity. Of the greater concern was the betrayal by some Americans by others, resulting in a fatal shooting. Read, for example, Hollis Blakesley's short article at corregidor.org/chs_blakesley/provoo.htm which alludes to a Captain "Stretch" Thompson being executed for refusing to empty hospital beds of wounded soldiers. In answering this, I had cause to find www.militarycorruption.com/provoo.htm which adds a denouement of which I was, until now, unaware:
