This article was titled "Wrong Target Becomes Right" and tells of a new bombardier who let his bombs drop a mile too early hitting Taballo (a misspelling of Caballo) Island (an island just southeast of Corregidor). Unknown at the time, the Japanese had cached their gas and ammo there when they knew Corregidor was going to be bombed. That mistake caused huge fires and losses to the Japanese. The bombardier is not identified, nor is the article dated, but I wanted to send it to the people who administer this site for the records. Please contact me thru email: momclwulffathotmail.com. Thank you. I have contacted Cynthia at her address - EXO

Hi Cynthia
Your article sounds very interesting. I was previously unaware of the incident you mention. Can you give us more details on how we can see the original? Can you post it here?
Thanks in advance.
