Civilian victims 1945 Monument in Manila
A monument to commemorate the approximately 100,000 civilian lives lost in the Battle of Manila in 1945 is located in Intramuros. I recently visited Manila to show my German school friend (1952-56, fifth to eights grade) the Philippines. I took pictures 2017-03-07 and established an album. This monument was constructed mainly through the efforts of the Memorare – Manila 1945 Foundation Inc., a private, non-profit organization.
