On behalf of the 503rd Parachute Regimental Combat Team Association, WWII, I wanted to post this official thank you to Paul Whitman for all he has done over the years to honor the men of the 503rd PRCT and preserve their stories. For those who know Paul, you know the work he has done and for those knowledge seekers who visit from time to time, it’s because of him that this knowledge has been recorded and shared. Paul was honored at our National Reunion this past fall held at Fort Benning with this plaque. 503rd Parachute Regimental Combat Team Association, WWII

Well deserved - not only for preserving the history of the 503d, but for much more.

I second that, John. This has got to be the best all-round, most extensive WW2 website there is, and Paul is the man responsible for it. I frequently refer people here to check it out, and they always message me back stating how amazed they are. The last one (yesterday, in fact) was a retired USN Master Diver I knew on active duty who I directed to the SS Corregidor and Oryoku Maru threads. He travels on expeditions with Bent Prop. And, he was very impressed with what he saw here.
Thank you EXO, from Patty and I, for helping preserve so much history with your dedication, devotion, and tireless efforts.
