Long time forum poster and researcher Patty D. Hill, aka "pdh54", died suddenly and unexpectedly after a very brief illness on November 1, 2019. She had toured Corregidor and Bataan during the 1980s while living in NAS Cubi Point at US Naval Base Subic Bay, and remained an avid buff thereafter.
Patty was preceded in death by her father and an infant daughter. She is survived by her mother, five siblings, three children, four grandchildren, and I, her husband of 37 years.

Thank you, gentlemen, for these comments. They are greatly appreciated. Patty looked forward to returning to Corregidor/Bataan/Subic some day and would have enjoyed meeting each and every one of you. She often spoke fondly of the friends she had made on this forum. Even recently she was wondering about okla and hoped all was well with him.

Chad
Words cannot express how shocked I was to read this post. And I am sure that few words can express the grief you and your family must be enduring at this moment. Needless to say Patty, you and your family will be kept in the thoughts and prayers of myself and my wife.
I enjoyed conversing here with your wife. In fact she made me feel welcome as she provided encouragement and assistance in helping with researching my very first post (UNKNOWN STRUCTURE) some 5 years back. She made me feel at home here, and like I was part of the group. For this I will never forget her.
