The Honolulu Transit goes by here, and they started laying another section of the railbed here, going into the east direction, towards the Honolulu Airport. Here at the FRA Branch 46 the Bottle beer is $ 5 and a draft is $3:50.

U591. One of 7 images of a large car carrier ship arriving in Pearl Harbor and I believe, offloaded cars, that got parked in the Aloha Stadium parking lot. The stadium is closed temporarily because of the virus from Red China!



U592. After considerable rains in April, one of 9 images of the Pearl Harbor Bike Path of swollen and muddy streams in the Waimalu to Waiawa streams area. Fuel pipes run along the bike path.

Historic Ewa Villages

On the 5th of May 2020 walked thru the Historic Ewa Villages and took these pictures. The mill is gone, some buildings are left. A Preservation Society is trying to keep some history alive. I liked the remaining trees, some equipment, the Mansion, some mill buildings. I walked more of course, that is another album. I did not write image descriptions but I provided Google Earth maps and marked them.

Too many images, 80, this album is only for people who know Ewa Villages and want to see what is left and what is new. I also liked the Lincoln Stature in front of the school.

U624. The Lincoln Stature at the EWA school; wow, it was erected in the war, 1944.



U625. Comparing sugar cane between here and the Philippines. Here the sugar cane is gone; in the Philippine the Sugar Industry is struggling also now. I owed a house near Waikele and run thru the sugar cane fields then. What I remember about the harvest method then and here, in the early 1980s. The cane must have been cut by a machine, I do know it was shoved to a big pile, then the leaves were burned then cranes with grab tools, like this one, loaded them on big wagons and they went off to the mill. In the Philippine the cane is still cut by bolos and loaded on to trucks by hand.

Kapolei Parkway Walk, 2020-05-05

This was just one of my routine walks, for exercise, enjoy scenery, take stock of men’s accomplishments. This is a new impressive road and the Hawaiian people are developing the area. Congratulations! This general area is also full of Military History. I discovered the approximate end of the New Honolulu Rail Transit. This album IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE who know this area and would like an update.

Zo725. The HART= Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation Track, Honolulu Rail Transit Track at the Honolulu International Airport. In the distance is H1 Hwy running above the Nimitz Hwy. Right is the US Postal Service Depot.



Zo727. The HART= Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation Track, Honolulu Rail Transit Track Special Track Assembly Machine at the Honolulu International Airport. They have three of these machines working now. This section of the Honolulu Rail Transit Track started at Valkenburg St. near our FRA Branch Home and the Navy Marine Golf Course to the airport and this Machine will take the Honolulu Rail Transit Track to Lagoon Drive and the Lagoon Park.



Zo736. The 3rd HART= Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation Track, Honolulu Rail Transit Track Special Track Assembly Machine is starting a new section of rail track at the Ke’Ehi Lagoon Beach Park. It is passing by the DAV Disabled American Veterans Park which is next to the Ke’Ehi Lagoon Beach Park. I remember the Navy used to have a beach area here a long time ago. And this is the area of the mouths of the Moanalua, and Kalihi Streams.



Zo739. The is the first HART= Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation Track, Honolulu Rail Transit Track Special Track Assembly Machine and it is approaching the Valkenburgh Street. Behind me is the FRA Branch 46, one of my hanging out places. Honolulu Rail Transit Track is pretty much complete from Kapolei to here. During the 9 month I have been on Oahu it has built the track from Makalapa Gate to here.

The Iwo Jima Memorial at the USMC Base Kaneohe.

On the 18th of July, I visited the USMC Base in Kaneohe and looked at the historical displays, just inside the main gate. The Iwo Jima Memorial stood out; it has history written on it. I took, made 27 pictures and made 2 albums.

USMC Kaneohe Historical Displays

On the 18th of July 2020 I visited the USMC Kaneohe Base and looked, took pictures of all their displays. They are located, left (USMC) and right (Navy) just inside the main gate. There are 4 Navy and 4 USMC historical air crafts. On the Marine side of the displays are also an Iwo Jima Memorial and other Military equipment or artillery.
