I have updated this publication, reissuing it in a large landscape format measuring 13 x 11 inches (33 x 28 cm). More size means larger images, and a more readable font as well. Plus I've added extra pages, delivering it in at 338. Here's the new cover: I wish to thank Tony Feredo and Eric Hawkins for the assistance they've rendered to me in completing this update.
A preview is available via my "About This Title" page. Just click on the cover.

NOT QUITE AN UPDATE, it is actually a different edition, a text "tie-in", something I haven' ever tried before. The printers call it a Pocket Edition, though you'd have to have fairly big pockets. It's more like the conventional books you see in departure lounge bookstores, 6x9 in, 15x23 cm format. It comes in at 332 pages, which includes 16 pages of photos and illustrations. This edition is actually three versions, a pocket economy version which is priced at under twenty bucks (in B&W), and two hardcover (dust jacket and ImageWrap) versions, with color illustrations. The hardcover editions are full-color, hence the price difference. The big news is that the "economy" soft-cover version is priced at under twenty bucks buy price. Read more about them HERE.

(Back Cover Art) CAUSE FOR COMPLAINT SUDDENLY - AND INEXPLICABLY DISAPPEARSOn Feb 16, I posted a complaint about Reischling Press Inc (trading as Blurb.com) were inflating shipping costs to Australian consumers beyond the price actually paid, and tat this constitutes false and misleading conduct, a matter which, if not satisfactorily dealt with, can be subject of complaint pursuant to the Trade Practices Act 1974. To save you having to look for it, I wrote that "Blurb's shipping calculation page, pursuant to which Blurb claims to calculate actual shipping costs, will show US$8.99. That is inconsistent with the check-out page, where normal shipping has been removed as an option, and the lowest available shipping cost is US$22.99." I have been in correspondence with Blurb. They have told me that they can't reproduce the issue. Gee, I must have imagined those screen shots I'd spent time collecting which proved it. I am aware that you are not asking me but I will say it anyhow, that if you are asking me to explain what happened, I would say that they realized the jig was up, and that they rolled back the shipping price "glitch" before the noxious substance impacted the rotary oscillator when a formal complaint hit the mail desk of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. So now, AMID TH' ENCIRCLING GLOOM - CORREGIDOR AND SURVIVAL is back available at under twenty bucks, with normal tax & postage rates applying.
