Re: the Japanese. 120mm gun, Ron (from the Corregidor Inn) and I found this gun halfway down the east slope from the Craighill gun pits. I had been looking for another 120mm gun that I had seen on the island in '87. I didn't find it on this trip, but found this one instead. I've since realized that I was looking in the wrong place as I was somewhat deliirous in '87 from climbing east from Gilliespie looking at the BES's along the ridgeline.
