X-F-1 was said to have been a storage and a command post. Note that a tunnel is present underneath. Just cant recall if it was the Japanese or CA guys that dug it.

Hi Fots, This is great stuff. Like Okla, I'm very greatful to "see" vicariously through yours and Karl's pictures.
Whatever reason the tombstones got there, I'd like to post the info in the PSHS forum as there's always someone who's looking for information about a great grandfather or someone with access to resources and able to research a little bit more. Maybe we'll find out more about these men.
Thanks for directing me to this thread. I haven't been doing a lot of web browsing lately, peaks and valleys of busyness.
