Hey Darth....Thank you for posting. As I said, I absolutely never tire of eyeballing these aerial shots and as I also said, especially, the "now and then or before and after" ones. In viewing your latest and comparing to the 1944 bombing pics, it blows my mind to see the great changes that have taken place at the Nielson Base area. Somewhere on this Forum there is a ground level view of what was once the taxiway of Nielson. It is absolutely amazing to think that the hustle and bustle, urban activity depicted in the photo is taking place on the locale of such a key installation way back in 1941/42. Who said "time changes all things" Cheers and thanks again for posting. I always enjoy your stuff.

Thanks, I always day Dream when I am waiting for calls at the Call Center, located at Paseo De Roxas cor Makati Ave, I wonder what would happen if I traveled back in time right at that moment after seeing the above photos I am thinking January 1945 is not a good idea to go back in time if I am at that Location, hehehe one of Childish fantasies

The names of the individual POW's as follows:
118 Lee, C.M.
254 Swanson, C.I.
224 O'neill, J.
329 Gaines, D.E.
Fascinating connection to an airfield that is not widely known.
