Yes, okla, I think Mr. Buckley preferred North Dock...seems like that caused quite a stir with some historians years back who thought he left from South Dock instead with General M.

Excellent panorama pix. Awesome. Hey Chad....Like you, I started looking for Cmdr John Bulkeley strolling the pier, but decided that this vessel is some type Philippine Navy (Coast Guard) craft. Besides, didn't Bulkeley usually frequent the facilities on the north side of Bottomside? AFAIK, our Coast Guard is separate from the Philippine Navy and is not considered a part of our armed forces (unlike the USCG). Instead, it is a civilian agency under the Department of Transportation and Communication IIRC. IIRC, the PCG acquired a few Cyclone-class patrol vessels (not these in the pix) from the USN. Pretty vessels, used by USN SEALs AFAIK. PCG craft are in white and orange. PN vessels are in gray such as these in EXO's pix. I think these vessels are locally manufactured (?), well ISTR that some of our patrol craft were locally built.
