What type of Artillery is this they say this was in Cavite I just don't have enough info where exactly is this in Cavite

darthdract, This must surely be a Spanish gun. Most probably an early breech-loader, but I could be wrong there. Looks quite similar to Gibraltar's "100 ton gun". fortman

Yeah your right sir it looks like one of the guns at gibraltar like those british 100ton guns specially the Carriage system like circualr rail eck eck

It is a spanish coast gun, normaly is knowed in Spain like "Sistema Elorza", a 24 cm Rifled Breach Loading gun or Modelo 1868, MK II with 24 grooves Krupp System. Only was made it 4 guns , 2 rest in Spain and 2 send it " a las islas Filipinas", perhaps in 1875. Are very interesting document. Have any more ?

oh that nice to know never knew that there is an active fortification in Luneta during the late 19th I always Learn Something new hear that's why I love Heritage
