Hello, I know the US Army Mne Planter Harrison was here. Let me check the list of the other vessels later. Cheers, Battery Boy

Richard, One of our website's major contributors is Dr. Selma Harrison Calmes, who was born on Corregidor. She has extensively researched her family history, and as her father was the Commanding Officer of the USAMP "Harrison", I suggest you chase anything written by her on the site. Most of her writings can be found through the GHQ index, or you can do a Google search of the site from the corregidor.org page. Regards, EXO CHS-503 Heritage Bn.

The testimony of Capt. George Sense, 92nd Coast Artillery (Philippine Scouts) before the board formed to examine war damage to the defences of Manila and Subic Bays (known as The Case Report) included the following testimony:
"40. Japs salvaged the Mine Planter Harrison and used it to plant mines in 1943."
