Battery Position Finder Stations in Manila Bay

G-II-3 GEARY IS NEAR THE LAST SOQ #12B AND IS EAST OF IT:
This is the smaller one of two gun controls, position finder near and east of the last east Senior Officer Quarter #12B, Topside, Corregidor Island. On the 1936 Corregidor map it is designated for Battery Geary. It is a little hard to find because of the thick undergrowth if you don’t know the map.
These images, numbered C1 to C7 were shot on the 17th Sep. 2015 and have been uploaded to this album:

W229 (C1) on the 1936 Corregidor map this position finder station is designated G-II-3 and the name Geary is written by it. The door is in the rear and is towards the uphill side. This is on topside, Ft. Mills on Corregidor Island.

W231 (C3) using the door at the rear as a reference point this is the right side of this position finder station designated G-II-3 and the name Geary is written by it. It would cover the south channel entrance to Manila Bay and the Cavite Coast.

W234 (C6) using the door at the rear as a reference point this is the left side of this position finder station designated G-II-3 and the name Geary is written by it. It would cover the south channel entrance to Manila Bay and the Cavite Coast.
