Corregidor is in the hearts of the field artillery even in France 1944: An M-12 155mm gun motor carriage named "Corregidor" of the 987th Field Artillery Battalion fired a 95lbs HE round during the figthing at St. Lo, France on July 16th. The M-12 is equipped with the M1918 155mm GPF, similar to the ones used by the gunners of Corregidor and the other island forts. This was such an interesting subject and since I build scale models, I decided to build one. The scale is 1/35 and the kit is from Academy. The details of the kit are good and it give a nice replica of the 155mm GPF. I am a fan of artillery and there are more subjects in workbench that needs to be done. FWIW, B-boy

Batteryboy,
You are a master modeller! Very impressive indeed. How about turning your talents to a disappearing gun?
Regards,
Fortman

Its in the plan but may take some time. I had a buddy who built a 12-inch DC in brass but in a smaller 1/72 scale. All parts working.
I do have another project on the bench and will keep you guys posted.

You're amazing, batteryboy. I used to be a modeller but I was not good at it. Maybe you can post some more of your works. I always drool at the models displayed at the malls.
