It could have like that, Xray. I have found another picture of a pillbox in the net. It's location is between Cabcaben and Zigzag Road. The place was called "Parang" but now it's called Alas-asin. That's a large area for a search.
Still can't get off with my schedules. Right now, I am thinking where are the reasonable places these pillbox could have been. Treasure-hunting here was rampant. And any remains here from the war have a 98% chance of getting adulterated by treasure hunters and scrappers.

I have forgotten the web address. Sometimes it's hard to juggle work and passion. Attachments:

Yes, it would be close to a miracle if you discovered recognizable remains. Much the same can be said about most any decades old battlefield, I suppose.
Not many clues. It would be safe to assume that the pillbox were meant to cover something strategic/important. A road junction, a bridge, a difficult, highly defensible portion of terrain.

Thanks for the wisdom, Xray.
Could it be that pillbox picture was the rear portion(entrance)? I haven't seen one but it seems too tight for a machine gun's traverse.

Hey sherwino, that would be giving away the grail. You gotta go find your own treasures on Corregidor. It's the journey not the destination.

@ Exo Wish I could go back in Corregidor soon. Three times was enough until I got involved here. There's more to explore in Corregidor, Bataan and the rest of the islands. Are you guys living on Corregidor? You always have a lot of stuff to share.
