i77.photobucket.com/albums/j50/littlesteve69/World%20War%20II/Pacific/Bataan/daws3.jpgThis image is frequently captioned as being taken during the Bataan Death March - the AP caption is "American prisoners of war carry their wounded and sick as they begin the Death March on Bataan in April 1942. This photo was stolen from the Japanese during their three year occupation of the Philippines." But the attached image is from the Manila Tribune, May 10, 1942. IT shows the image as "NIPPONESE prisoners accompany prisoners to the concentration point." I was wondering if anyone recognized anything in the photo as to the location on Corregidor. I recognize this is an extreme long shot - just thought I'd ask. PS Fold3 has Manila Tribune from January 1942 to June 1942. Many photos that I'd never seen before. I found it interesting that the Japanese running the Tribune at that time had war propaganda interspersed with Filipino wedding announcements. Trying to force normality during the occupation, I assume. Attachments:

The 2nd photo with the wrecked trolleys is definitely taken at Corregidor.
