Can anyone tell anything about this photo? What Battery is it.
I'm making a few assumptions (wrong or right?)
1. The location is Corregidor 2. The men in the picture are troopers of the 503rd PRCT
reply from BATTERYBOY added by Registrar on 2 May 2015This not Corregidor but located in Lingayen area (Rosario IIRC), Northern Luzon. The artillery in the photo is a Japanese Type 7 30.5cm Howitzer and the men are from the 158th Regiment who captured it.

Interesting photo of Topside. In the bottom right quadrant of the picture there is something that looks like a gun barrel/tube.
