I wanted to share a photo from my collection. This photo was taken the morning of September 5, 1943. Before the landing near Nadzab in the Markham Valley. From left to right: Lt. Col. John Tolson General Douglas MacArthur General George Kenney

Daniel,
That is a particularly good photo you have posted - it wouldn't happen to be one that was listed on eBay lately, would it?
Your problem is that the bulletin board site itself doesn't store the photo, so any image can only be placed on the forum by means of a hot link to the image file in an address where it is stored.
I looked at your code and can see that the photo you want to display isn't hosted on a web hosting site.
Some free storage places prevent bulletin boards from linking to their pics, and thus a pic stored within them won't show up, even if you paste its link.
Images of merit I will host for free, because they have merit (by definition) and rarity (yours is both!
The web provider who is storing my website (M6.Net) has caused me major grief over the past month (their servers crashed and their back up servers were corrupt and the data out of date, and they have taken almost a month to get back to operational status. )I haven't been able to upload all the stuff I have compiled since 12 June, but service (such as it is) is now restored, and things should be getting back to normal quite soon. M6 couldn't organize a ham sandwitch in a hog farm.
Regards, and thanks for your joining and your contribution of the digital image.

Yes this and other photos I have are from ebay. I do have some from Fred Hill also.
I received the rest of the photos from the morning of September 5, 1943. I'll be sure to send them to you. Hopefully over the weekend I will have time to post more photos. They are pretty unique as you mentioned. Maybe we can add these to the website to display better.
