Mind boggling construction project done in a day and age with very few power tools and plans were all pen and paper. Sure can appreciate that as a union carpenter, I thought I was on some hairy jobs but there is not much in history that remotely matches the construction of Drum.

Logistics must have been insane with the amount of concrete, wood and steel hauled over. Certainly one of the most fascinating and storied forts in history, bar none - And obviously, its epic battle record speaks for itself and is also unmatchable. Am doubting is any Drum vets are with us today, anyone know ?
