I have many photos from 1932 that were in my fathers album. He was transferred to the Philippines from Panama, then went on to China. He was with the Corps of Engineers and the CAC. How and where should I upload the scans of the pics? Thanks, Robert Darling rdarli01@gmail.com

Most things on the internet are not free or even cheap. You would have to scan them or a friend or family member that means a scanner and put them in computer or something similar. Then you need an internet server like Photobucket, store them there and then connect them to the forum. In our forum we have learned that Photobucket is a very bad company, our experience they give bad service.
If you cannot do all that you could ask an interested person like me to do it for you. Since I live far away you could take digital pictures and email them to me. Maybe you could take a picture of two pages in one shot of the open album and then I could pick some that might interest me knowing of what other pictures I already have.
Everything is time consuming, maybe we start with a few pictures only, because I am always busy with other projects.

imgur.com/ is a good option, far better than photobucket [which is really not an option anymore]. Free service for basic hosting, they are well established and don't appear likely to ever go the route photobucket took [changed free service to paid, and held your pics hostage]. You could also use cloud storage to host and link them yourself, might have cloud already and not even know it. If you have Amazon prime then you have it. Dropbucket offers free cloud storage and paid for more space, as does Apple [if you have a iphone] and a host of others. As Karl says, and he knows as well as anyone, does take some effort and time to upload and link batches of pics for display on a forum, I thank you in advance if you make the effort.
