At the former US Marine 'Green Beach',in Subic Bay,South Korea is building a shipyard;it is a 1 Billion $US investment. All the residents there were relocated in May 2006. On 4th of Aug 2006 a few friends hiked to the new Agusuhin Resettlement to see how they are doing. The pictures of the below link will tell the story. It seems to me that the residents of Bataan are not being treated all that much better now than they were during WWII. So much for the outcome of Philippine Independence, the Golden Rule still applies - the people who have the gold make the rules.
