Hello to all,
I'm Rodger49, my father PFC Aaron Clemons was captured on Corregidor with the 4th Marines. I'm so happy to have found this web site. My dad never really spoke of his ordeal in the POW camps, nor of his time on the island, Korea, or any other deployment while on active duty. He retired in 1960 after serving his country for 22 years in the Marine Corps. I followed his lead and joined the Marines in 1967, lo and behold I was assigned to A Co. 1/4 and served as a rifleman for a tour in Vietnam.
I just wanted to say hello to all, and look forward to talking with you, learning about this historic time in our countries history, and if possible making contributions when and where I can.
Semper Fi
Clem
