This board is dedicated to warriors of the past and lest we forget warriors of the the present and future it is a total loss. I myself have served in Nam as military and done contract work from Central America and ending my operational service in Iraq the end of 2004. I have serious spinal damage and cannot serve no longer. All of us that have served have come from a class of warrior which the world has never seen before. We serve not kings but the people in their freedom for domination by evil forces. The United States of America is now in dire straits because of its political choices. We need to pray for its relief and the cause of freedom. We come from many nations. We have fought shoulder to shoulder during great conflicts. Some of our fellow nations have fallen into apathy and now the US. Apathy allows evil men to rule because the people no longer care and do not want to fight. Freedom lost will never be regained from the evil men whom are opressing this world. Look back in history and model yourselves after the men whom have become giants in history. Not slaves to the masses of the sheeple that follow. Because I'm American my model is George Washington. Never wanted to be president. Wanted freedom. William Wallace in Scotland and many others. Freedom Matters not the rule of the politicians and evil doers. Spooky

Interesting comments, what do you know of Sir William Wallace? is it based on the Mel Gibson movie? One mans freedom fighter is another mans traitor. If you think America is in dire straits you want to see what those treacherous bastards Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have done to the UK. Its the same the world over matey, the minority rule the majority, and they are only interested in lining there own pockets and looking out for number one. In another era Brown and Blair would be languishing in jail awaiting execution for high treason, and the vast majority of the other politicians would be facing charges of corruption and fraud.
In legend it is said that when England faced great crisis the Sword Excalibur would rise and a king Arthur would return to save England, if it does not happen soon there will be no England to save, it will just be a region of Europe! Makes you wonder why we bothered fighting Napoleon and Hitler in the first place!
Of course these are just my own thoughts, to others the labour government is the best thing since sliced bread!
How much truth is in that Michael Moore movie Fahrenheit 9/11
And was not Ho Chi Minh fighting for freedom against the french, the Japs, the french again and then the Americans?
One mans freedom fighter is another mans dictator!
Keep your pecker up xspook, its all you can do, and............"Don`t let the bastards grind you down" !

Exactly keep your powder dry the knife sharp and an eye open all the time. Read some on William Wallace after seeing the movie. Like you say viewers prespective is formed by every person differently. Heres a true story that happened to a friend of mine. My friend lets call him Bob did CIA operations in Nam and later retired from the US government as a federal agent. He married a vietnamese woman during the war. Lets call her Ling not her real name or his. I used to be a weapons supplier and manufacturer in the US. I had quite a collection of military weapons including machinguns and all sorts of equipment. One day I was at Bob's house and talking Nam. Ling walked in and said. Honey you know you always joke I was VC. Lets go to John's shop I want to show you something. We went to my shop. Ling chose a M16, Ak-47, Browing Beltfed 1919-a4, M60, 45 automatic, 9mm browning and put them on a workbench. Ling then turned and said watch. She proceeded to fieldstrip and reassemble all the weapons. As fast as I could if not faster for her nimble fingers. Laughing Bob then said well after all she is a better republican than he was. Ling then said Bob I was VC but I fell in love with you while spying on you and I decided to escape that hellhole.

Ha,ha,ha,ha, i like that, you can be married to someone for years and years then something will happen and you realise that you don`t know em at all!!
This may give you a laugh, my ex wife is japanese, her dad i found out had trained to be a pilot and volunteered to be a kamikaze, he took off on missions but as no targets were found returned to base and to try again later. the war ended and saved his bacon. If he had succeeded i`d have never met my ex and would have been saved the hell i went through being married to the B.i.t.c.h!!
Her dad is a nice guy, i could understand why he volunteered, he thought that his sacrifice would prevent an invasion of Japan and save his family from certain death. The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few, as Spock said.
I`d love to keep my powder dry Spooky but we aint allowed guns in the UK, someone may take a shot at our glorious leader Gordon if we had em! But i have my khukri, and its bloody sharp!!

Finally will get back to you. Been runnin I disagree off. I actually live in Bago City Philippines. Tons of guns here. Actually another good one. Go to McDonalds order a Big Mac thats special order. The Armed guard with a McDonalds patch on his arm will deliver it. My two step brothers lived in Manchester when they were kids. My stepfather was married to and english pregnant dog to say the least in WWII. So I know a lot of the brit stuff. Plus when I was doing contract work in Iraq I worked mainly with retired Brit army special ops. Crazy sense of humor you brits. Had a retired Col from the Royal Guard come in as my counterpart and he hated I disagree at first till when we came under attack. Then the tide turned he had never been fired on. Ended up asking me for advice on how to survive under attack. I had the civilian/mil rank equivelent of Major. LOL Spooky
