Battery Grubbs, Gun No. 2 . BC Station of the battery visible at the back.

I agree batteryboy, can't fool you. Battery Grubbs, 10 inch Gun #2. 1- Four indentations in the wall match the pre-war and current photos. Bottom left one has a rounded top. Second one with a metal ring is square. Third one is rectangular. The forth one is rectangular and still has some original white paint. 2- Stairs with handrail going down and slanted concrete wall going up behind it. The slanted wall forms the start the wall containing the arched entrance which is exclusive to Battery Grubbs. 3- A control station is seen behind the battery. Battery Grubbs is the only ‘disappearing gun’ battery with a fairly large battery control directly behind and slightly above it. Also, it is rectangular and orientated as we see in the old photo. Above is Battery Grubbs, 10 inch Gun #2 as it looks today
