Here is a strange photo for you. While climbing up a section of Denver Tunnel you have to hold onto the roots and vines. Near the top, I tucked my flash light under one arm, held onto a root and took a photo with the camera in my opposite hand. The result was a little wierd being caused by lens flare from reflected light. I was thinking, since the hotel guides try to scare people on the Malinta laterals night tour, here is proof that GHOSTS do exist on Corregidor.

John,
I have my own experiences of the occult and supernatural in the island but I would rather discuss this outside this forum and over a few bottle of San Migs. Interesting photo and thanks for sharing.

Tony,
In March I went to Corregidor with my sister. Since she has a habit of talking to strangers in a restaurant within a three table radius, we ended up meeting two very nice Filipina ladies. The next day I took the three of them to some easy locations away from the day tour (Wheeler and Tunnel, Geary and Crockett).
One of the ladies talked about her third eye and of seeing people watching her. She was very serious about that.
I certainly won't make fun of something that may or may not exist just because I have not seen it. I'll look forward to hearing your stories.
John

hey fots...after viewing your latest photo (the ghost? ) i dont know if i want to visit corregidor or not. just kidding...i would go in a minute and camp out all night in any tunnel that was offered. it would be the boa snakes that would have my undivided attention. seriously, that is a unique photo.

This story is not Corregidor, but Bataan. Back in 2005, someone I know went to visit the Mt. Samat memorial with a group of buddies. They took videos and pictures with their digital camera.
Everything was cool, but one of the video clips later on showed all black on the computer screen. Okay you might say... who left the lense cap on? But when they raised the volume on the video clip, there was faint sound of gunfire, machineguns, rifle fire...

Fots, Here's one in a similar vein - of the entrance to the tunnel at Battery Smith. Easy explanation - As you folks know, I smoke cigars.

Interesting story Victor.
Good photo EXO. With that cigar you could create a whole ghost battalion in those tunnels.
I spent eleven hours, mostly alone, in Malinta Tunnel in January. Considering the history there I would expect at least one of the hundreds of dead soldier’s ghosts to reach out and tap me on the shoulder. Wala, nada, nothing.
I must be too focused on exploring to see anything. It reminds me of an episode of the Simpsons.
Marge, Lisa and Homer are walking down the street each deep in thought. Marge is thinking about what she will cook for dinner. Lisa is thinking about playing her trumpet at school. Homer is thinking left, right, left, right, left right…
I must be Homer.

There are still things of this earth that defy explanation, scientific or otherwise.
