this is the place i stayed (in tents) in 1992, our guide's sister had a small store here and provided us with all our meals. opposite side of the road was derelict buildings that they say were refrigeration plants(?) going further into the island was a valley and here they had a big wire aviary that contained quite a few various birds. At the top of this valley we turned right which led us to the area that Cpt Danny lived. one thing that i now remember was by Dan's place, keeping Dans house on your left, walk until you come to a rock face and there was a tunnel there under that rock. Never went inside so know little about it... Attachments:

Hi janner,
It sounds like you had a very interesting trip back then. My first trip was in 1996 but I wish the exploring I have been doing lately was being done even years before that.
Danny lived in James Ravine until a typhoon destroyed his house. He later lived beside the row houses at the Stockade area. Did he ever live anywhere else on the island?
Yes, you tented opposite the original Power and Refrigeration Plant on your first trip. The Row House is still there.
