There have been three changes only: The first was to increase the number of most recent posts from 10 to 15. The second change was in how the forum placed their advertising on the site. ProBoards allows us to select between two types of advertising for the top of your forum: Leaderboard or Rectangle. Leaderboard ads are 728x90 wide advertisements which come standard with your forum. The 'reward' for switching to rectangle ads, is that we gained two additional features: - To display a custom message to guests and members of your forum. (I haven't enabled this to members at all.)
- Once you log in, the most recent topics that you have participated in will be displayed at the top of the page next to the rectangle ad.
As far as I am aware, neither of these interferes with the way the board displays its content. I have been using the board often since these changes, and everything else displays normally. Being pestered more than once to log-in sounds like some form of a cookie issue with your individual computer. A quick fix sometimes is to log in "forever" which changes some setting that pro-boards leaves in your cookie jar (or whatever they call it). Then in a day or two, go back to what you are comfortable with. If this doesn't clear up, send me a screen capture of your issue.

EXO, perhaps you misunderstand what I am taking about. What I am saying is that the board does not display the content I am interested in until I scroll down from the ‘enhancements’ you mention at the top of ALL pages. In the past I could click on an updated topic and be able to view it as soon as the page loaded. (I am referring to the large box that either wants me to “login” or shows “most recent posts”). The banner will always be on top of a screen but now my screen is nearly full with this new box.
This seems like web site optioning and not a cookies issue. Do you still need screenshots?
Logging in forever does not solve the problem. After logging in, that “most recent posts” box takes up the other half of my screen space. If I want to see that I can click on my user name to see a list of recent posts.
Advertisements are a necessary evil but are they required on both the top and bottom?
Of course it is up to you how you want your website displayed. I just find the extra scrolling steps annoying especially if your internet connection is slow. Can an individual user disable that big box?

In accord with your request, the changes are undone.
The "most recent posts" box is now removed. It's existence cannot be had except by accepting the rectangular add. Banner ad or rectangle add, that's the choice.
There aren't individual controls.
The placement of the adverts which remain cannot be changed. We don't generate the credits to kill them. To acquire a board without them would cause us to lose all existing posts. Free boards all designe their software to make content non-transferable.

Looks much better now. Thank-you very much (from me anyway).

No other comments, so that makes you 100% of the focus group.
