During the next 48 hours, I will be changing the website host from M6.Net to Godaddy.
This shouldn't result in any change to this forum. In theory, sure.
I have deliberately not uploaded a number of duplicated directories, so this will result in a number of dead links.
I expect that everyone will notice this, and do nothing. This is, of course, functionally the same as no one noticing anything, which isn't much help at all.
I have changed from M6 because they interrupted hosting one time too many.
When the move is complete, there will also be five .Org's in our group.
This move has been funded by a patriotic private donor. If you don't know who our donor is, then it wasn't you.
There's still plenty of opportunity for people who want to make a difference to make donations to enhance the websites. A $50 donation can make a 2 year difference to everyone's access to the Coast Artillery or USMC on Corregidor sites. A $100 donation will allow for the acquisition of a program I have my covetous eye on, and a $200 will fund another desirable purchase to enhance the delivery of fully functional *.pdf files.

The website host has been changed from M6.net to godaddy.com.
M6 recently changed their servers. That they interrupted service doing it was unputuppable with.
Shortly, Corregidor.org will be addressed through five separate DNS addresses. Two more .orgs have been acquired, and one .org transferred into the group. The transfers also involved e-mail account issues.
There are dead links.
I hate them more than you do.
I hate them so much, I do something about trying to find them, and fix them.
I have hired a firm which employs 17,000 software engineers in India to double check every one of the over ten thousand pages in the group. Please notify me of any that may have missed their attention so I can have these unworthy hyenas whipped to a bloody pulp within an inch of their miserable lives.
Yeah, sure.
There's still plenty of opportunity to make a difference. A $50 donation can make a 2 year difference to everyone's access to the Coast Artillery and USMC areas. A $100 donation will allow a software purchase from someone who isn't wearing an eyepatch (and doesn't have parrot droppings on his jacket shoulder.) A $200 donation will allow me to buy that identical software plus have a really good night out!!
