Concerning your request in the Taro Leaf Vol. 65, Issue #2 for names of 34th Infantry men killed on Corregidor,I hope this helps you. I was radioman for Col. Postlethwait. Harold J. DUNCAN was the second radioman. Both of us were in the first landing craft. The Colonel told me to follow him. Duncan went to the right after landing. When I hit the beach I hit the dirt behind the Colonel. My hand was inches from a land mine. Harold Duncan hit a landmine and it blew up. I wrote Harold's family in New Jersey about Harold but never got a reply. He was a good person and too young to die. Bill Vickers, S/Sgt, 3rd Bn Hq. Co., 34th Infantry, 24th Infantry Div.
